What is the
Basic Survival Network?
The Basic
Survival Network is a network of people helping people. There is no
greater joy than to help others in need. The idea of this network is
to provide people with the means to help others DIRECTLY.
When you sign up
for the newsletter, your information is inserted into a database.
This includes your zip code. If there is a need in or around your
area, your zip code will be used to create an alert so that local
members of your community can assist that person or family in need.
Here is a
scenario. Let’s say Joe is a member of the Basic Survival Network
and his neighbor’s house is blown away by a tornado. Joe can go to
the Basic Survival Network website and submit an alert. This alert
will spawn a generated email by the administration that will go out
to all neighboring members of the Basic Survival Network asking for
supplies and help for Joes neighbor.
Have you ever
wondered where your money goes when you donate to certain (nameless)
charities? The idea for this network is to allow neighbors to help
neighbors. We want you to be able to direct help those in need.
We want to create
hero’s everyday.
